Medical Journey & Academic Foundation
Born in 1977 in Trabzon, Dr. Aksan graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Medicine in 2000. Driven by a passion for the complexities of the human brain, he specialized in Neurosurgery at Dokuz Eylul University, completing his residency in 2007.
Pioneering Surgical Initiatives in Anatolia
During his compulsory service at Mus State Hospital, Dr. Aksan demonstrated visionary leadership by introducing microscope-assisted spine surgeries to the region for the first time. Serving also as Deputy Chief Physician and Head of Intensive Care Units, he combined his surgical skills with strong administrative management.
Clinical Expertise & Philosophy
After serving as a Reserve Officer at Eskisehir Air Hospital and working at Izmir Private Tinaztepe Hospital, he established his own clinic in Izmir/Alsancak. Adopting the principle of "Primum non nocere" (First, do no harm), he specializes in brain tumors, spine surgery, and degenerative diseases at Private Gazi Hospital and Acibadem Kent Hospital.
Health Policy & Social Vision
As the Founder of Laurasia Political Thought & Research Center (LADAM), Dr. Aksan produces strategies on health management, biotech ethics, and geopolitics. His goal is to contribute intellectually to Turkey's strategic transformation in health and technology.
